After cancelling the first attempt at couple portraits for the weather, we dropped lucky a couple of weekends ago with a bright sunny day at Saltburn sea front. I had thought I had been to Saltburn since the last, highly destructive high tides, but I was mistaken. The damage to railings, the slip way and the pier is still clearly evident and rather dramatic.
Having said all that, Saltburn remains a lovely place with plenty of photo opportunities, and plenty of rock pools for a little boy to practice skimming stones with Grandma while I photographed Mum and Dad!
In this case it was also a good excuse for a family day out and fish and chips on the prom, although it did get very cold the instant the sun went behind a cloud.
A pre-wedding shoot is a great opportunity to get to know your photographer and the images may be used on a signing frame or in a guest book. That is why it is included in both of my full day Wedding packages.
