Images from Jackie and John’s family oriented Halloween wedding at Judges Hotel, Kirkelvington.
We were fortunate with the weather for Jackie and John’s wedding and the grounds at Judges were beautifully autumnal. Their wedding used the venue to its fullest with the ceremony in the Restaurant, reception in the Lounge, wedding breakfast in the Garden Room and later the evening reception in the Courtyard Suite.
I knew this was going to be a relaxed wedding when Jackie said the children were allowed to dress up for Halloween. I didn’t know if I would be meeting a flower girl or a pumpkin! As it happens fancy dress was saved for the evening and they all looked very smart during the day, but the Halloween theme was carried through with pumkin table centres and spooky themed table names.
The atmosphere during Bridal preparations was very calm. Just as we were sorting final details ready for the ceremony, lovely Mother of the Bride Pauline arrived with a full picnic of sandwiches and quiches, even bringing a jar of mustard along! No one was going hungry, not on her watch! Sadly we were too busy/nervous to eat. Sorry Pauline! But I am sure it was appreciated.
Meanwhile with the Groom, little Molly had smiles a-plenty, although she was more interested in spending time with favourite Auntie Nicola than her Mummy and Daddy who were getting married!
The gorgeous bouquets by flowerhouse in Hartburn complemented the dresses perfectly.
The chocolate orange jaffa cake wedding cake looked (and smelled) divine.
Jackie’s ballerina length dress by Kate Fearnley Bridal just HAD to be used for twirling – how could we not?
Rob was the best Best Man ever. Okay I am biased and basing this almost entirely on his including me in the refreshments, but even so… And not forgetting Jackie’s fab bridesmaids Abi and Tracey who couldn’t quite walk in their shoes, but didn’t let that stop them having fun!
I loved photographing this wedding and everyone made me feel very, very welcome. Wishing Jackie, John, Molly and their family all the very best for the future.
