Heather and Stephen were married at Gisborough Hall Hotel at the end of March. The weather forecast was for gale force winds and sadly did not disappoint.
Heather made a stunning but very nervous Bride.
Thanks to a minor glitch with Heather’s garter I had the opportunity to show off my sewing skills (and use my portable sewing kit for the first time in anger) during Bridal preparations. In the absence of a thimble, the sole of a shoe came in handy! Thanks to Maid of Honour Leanne for providing this image as proof.
Stephen on the other hand was not one little bit nervous and continued to joke around (as you can see below)! I take no credit for posing the men on the right.
The couple’s daughter was a little camera shy, but with sterling efforts from Bridesmaids Leanne and Laura we got there in the end!
Wild winds curbed our chances of getting outside but there were plenty of portrait opportunities indoors, especially when a beautiful suite was booked for the wedding night. Having said that, I am not sure I anticipated arm wrestling.
The cake by Craftycakes was unusual and a real talking point.
I just love this image of the little girl who was fascinated with the lights on the DJ booth!
Thank you to Heather, Stephen and all of their friends and family for making me feel very welcome.
